Hello.
This is olympia.newsnw.org, a project run by News Northwest. We're starting the project by running the site like a typical blog, with "secret" plans for "radical" new features that we'll release in the future.

Getting involved.
News Northwest currently has a pretty small team, and we'd be excited to get some help covering the news of the Pacific Northwest! Email us for more information.

Technology.
We use the open-source content management system Drupal for olympia.newsnw.org. We've developed a custom Drupal theme called newsnw that you could revise to use for your own sites. Find the newsnw theme project at drupal.org. The theme is still under heavy development, so be ready for things to not work without a little extra work. We'll announce on ideas.newsnw.org, our tumblr blog, any updates on the newsnw theme.
